* Students applying to government schools need not pay the security deposit.
Donation
Type	Amount To Donate
Education Fund	S$1,000 for every 2 years of study. Pay to Ministry of Education in Singapore upon approval of Student Pass.

Security Deposit**

Malaysia & Brunei	Nil
Indonesia, Philippines & Thailand	S$1,000 in the form of a Banker's Guarantee. Pay in Singapore upon approval of Student Pass.
People's Republic of China, India, Bangladesh and Myanmar	S$5,000 in the form of a Cashier's Order. Pay in Singapore upon approval of Student Pass.
Others	S$1,500 in the form of a Banker's Guarantee. Pay in Singapore upon approval of Student Pass.
** Students applying to government schools need not pay the security deposit. Applies to students taking up courses with private schools. The security deposit is refundable upon the cancellation or expiry of applicant's Student's Pass.
